Mats Lindberg, Violoncell

He studied at the Music Academy at Göteborg University and for the solo cellist Peter Wolf in Germany. In Sweden, Mats has worked as a freelance musician in our major orchestras such as: Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra, NorrlandsOperan and Gothenburg Opera to name a few. Musical variation has always been important for Mats, who also has worked in pop and musical shows. Mats has appeared on recordings with artists such as: Robyn Body Talk pt2, Knut Agnred, Cue Guide in Blue, Timo Räisänen Love Will Turn You Around, Natasha Bedingfield and gave concerts with artists such as Powel Ramel, Robert Wells at Marstrands Fästning, Miss Li at the Debaser Stockholm, Que at the Gothenburg Concert Hall and with the choir Amanda.

Mats has in addition to playing cello in the Wulfson String Quartet also performed as a cellist in the Björn Skifs Show at Eriksbergshallen Gothenburg, Christer Sjögrens Las Vegas show at Rondo Gothenburg, Falkes Fondue with Galenskaparna, Musikalshow på Kajskjul 8 Göteborg with the artists Anders Ekborg and Sharon Dyall. He has also worked on Bingolotto and played behind artists such as: Gunilla Backman, Lasse Berghagen, Jill Jonsson och Björn Skifs.

Mats is not only a musician but has also participated in various theatres as an actor and musician in musical theater for children such as: “Hemska Spökhuset” i regi av Musik i Väst and “Ja o Nejtrollet” regi by Musik i Halland
